Danske Invest receives investment fund award

"Excellent". Danske Invest Global Emerging Markets among the best in class in German award ceremony

For the second year running, one of Danske Invest’s funds was among the winners at an annual event in Germany celebrating the best investment funds. The Deutscher Fondspreis awards for 2012 were presented last week, and in the Emerging Markets category, Danske Invest’s Global Emerging Markets A came out on top among 778 different funds. The fund was described as “herausragend” – excellent.

According to Stig Brammer Jensen, who is Head of European Third Party Distribution at Danske Capital and responsible for the sale of Danske Invest’s funds in Germany, among other places, the award draws attention to Danske Invest and our performance.

“This is an acknowledged award. It is presented in connection with a fair solely focusing on funds and attended by 13,000 financial advisors. It is a perfect venue to showcase ourselves and our products, and it shows our capacity,” says Stig Brammer Jensen.

One of Danske Invest’s strengths is our ability to select the best portfolio advisors for our funds. Investments in Danske Invest Global Emerging Markets have been entrusted to Aberdeen Asset Management, who have delivered extremely good results in respect of Emerging Market investments. In fact, the award-winning fund also holds five stars in the Morningstar ratings. The means that the fund performs very well compared with other funds with a similar focus.

30 funds honoured
A total of 30 investment funds from 21 different companies were honoured in 11 categories. The awards were presented in connection with the fund conference in Mannheim, Germany, on 25-26 January 2012, where 220 stands were visited by around 13,000 financial advisors.

The esteemed German Institut für Vermögensaufbau, IVA, from Munich selected the award winners on the basis of a special portfolio and risk analysis.
