Danske Invest is scoring top marks
Research from the research institute Morningstar brings into focus Danske Invest's Danish sub-fund Nye Markeder (emerging markets). The conclusion is clear: The sub-fund is among the very best.
In a new video analysis Morningstar is bringing Danske Invest’s Danish sub-fund Nye Markeder into focus. The sub-fund is pursuing the same strategy as a number of other Danske Invest emerging markets sub-funds including Global Emerging Markets. And the result is clear: The sub-fund delivered excellent performance, and according to Morningstar it is a huge stock investment success.
The sub-fund is investing in stocks from the so-called emering markets, and Devan Kaloo from Aberdeen Asset Management is the portfolio adviser of the sub-fund. The sub-fund holds five stars with Morningstar, and moreover the sub-fund has won Morningstar Fund Awards for the past four consecutive years. The prize is won by the sub-fund that has shown the best performance among its competitors within its category.
Excellent performance
Morningstar is, indeed, highlighting that the sub-fund has shown excellent performance within recent years.
“While the financial crisis raged on, the sub-fund exhibited solid strength and provided top performance,” says Morningstar. In six out of the past eight years the sub-fund has been among the best fourth within its category, and the sub-fund has outperformed its benchmark in six out of the eight recent years.
Danske Invest is also offering other sub-funds that invest in emerging markets and which are managed by Aberdeen Asset Management, for example Global Emerging Markets Class A. This sub-fund is pursuing the same investment strategy as that of the Danish Emerging Markets sub-fund.
