Danske Invest once again wins a prestigious award

For the fourth consecutive year Danske Invest has been elected the best equity fund in Denmark by the international research institute Morningstar. "Our strategy works," says Thomas Mitchell, managing director of Danske Invest.

Thus, this is not just about making “one lucky punch”. Or two. Or three. For the fourth year in a row, Danske Invest has won the price as the best equity fund in Denmark. And the gratification becomes even greater year after year when Danske Invest is being placed at the top of the rostrum, explains managing director in Danske Invest Thomas Mitchell.

”When we now for the fourth consecutive year are elected best in equities, it shows than we are capable of persistently maintaining the high level and that our strategy works. Within the world of sports it is said that it is not the toughest task to become number one - but to stay number one. We have proven that our investment approach is sustainable in the longer term. This is of decisive importance for our investors, says Thomas Mitchell. The award goes to the best investment fund measured by its return to its investors.

Strategy bears fruit
According to Thomas Mitchell one of the reasons behind the success is the investment strategy pursued by Danske Invest both in Denmark and in other countries in which Danske Invest is offering its products: Careful selection of local portfolio advisers, who are responsible for the individual sub-funds' investments.

”At Danske Invest we draw upon both national and international investment experts, because in our view this is what allows us to provide our investors with the highest returns. For some years now Danske Capital has developed significant expertise within European investments, while e.g. Aberdeen has presence and great knowledge about the emerging markets among other markets Asia and Latin America," explains Thomas Mitchell.

In addition to winning an award for being the best equity fund, four Danske Invest sub-fund won within their respective categories measured in terms of their returns to investors.
